On July 10, 2026 the Department of War published a fourth release of files through PURSUE. Release 04 adds forty new records: fourteen documents, nineteen videos, four audio recordings, and three images. Contributing agencies named in the announcement: Department of War, NASA, CIA, FBI, and the Department of Energy. Named individual cases highlighted at release include the 2015 Pantex nuclear-weapons facility intrusion (Amarillo, Texas); a 2020 Atlantic Ocean 12-15 foot maroonish object; a 2019 Eastern US rectangular object account from a 28-year US military aviator; a 2025 Yellow Sea six-pointed star formation; a 2025 East China Sea INDOPACOM tracking event; a 1949 Los Alamos green-fireballs physicists' conference transcript; Project Sign and Project Blue Book records; 1955 CIA sighting analyses; and NASA STS-80 imagery.

Release 04 continues the roughly-monthly cadence established by Releases 01 (May 8), 02 (May 22), and 03 (June 12). Its structural feature is the broadening of DOE participation (the Pantex nuclear intrusion is the second DOE-contributed case, following the Sandia / Pajarito / PANTEX historical set in Release 02) and the return of large historical batches from Project Sign / Blue Book and 1949-1955 CIA / Los Alamos material. Sean Parnell confirmed a fifth release is in preparation.
