Written ODNI statement, issued June 16, 2026, announcing that a new Interagency UAP Governance Board has been established and held its first meeting. Co-establishing agencies: Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of War. Stated mission: to 'integrate and optimize interagency processes involved in the investigation of UAP incidents' in support of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office.

The Governance Board is a governance instrument, not an incident. Its establishment shifts the US UAP-oversight architecture from AARO-alone to AARO-under-a-standing-interagency-board.
