No UAP-focused congressional hearing is scheduled as of September 10, 2026. The last one was the House Oversight Task Force hearing on September 9, 2025 (Restoring Public Trust). Task Force chair Anna Paulina Luna's most recent public UAP action was the April 2026 letter to Secretary Hegseth demanding 46 UAP video files, but no follow-on hearing has been announced.

Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Implications on National Security, Public Safety, and Government Transparency

David Grusch's sworn allegation of a decades-long US crash-retrieval and reverse-engineering program involving non-human origin technology. Fravor recounted the 2004 Nimitz Tic Tac encounter. Graves testified about routine UAP encounters by Navy aviators. Grusch's specific claims remain unverified by any public evidence and have been denied by DoD; the hearing is nonetheless the most senior sworn public claim on record.

The first open congressional UAP hearing since the 1966 Project Blue Book era. Established the UAP Task Force as the direct predecessor of AARO. Bray displayed two Navy UAP videos and made the widely contested claim that the government has 'no material' from any UAP encounter, a claim later contradicted under oath by David Grusch in July 2023.
