Official description

PURSUE document set covering the Western US October 2023 incident: DOW-UAP-D077 through D083 (AARO case analysis materials), FBI-UAP-D014 through D023 (witness narrative statements and reporting forms), and FBI-UAP-PR005 and PR006 (two digital recreation videos). Five named federal law enforcement agents provided independent witness accounts. AARO designates the case unresolved.

Editor's context

This is the most-witnessed case in PURSUE Release 03, with five named federal law enforcement witnesses on the record. The unusual structural feature is the inclusion of AI-rendered reconstructions, which AARO has not previously published as part of a release. The reconstructions are explicitly labeled as analytical aids, not as primary evidence. As of release, AARO has not adjudicated the case to any conventional explanation.

In the margins

Transcribed redactions, stamps, and handwritten markings, the paratext of the file. Often the most human part of a declassified document, and worth reading on its own.
