Official description

PR001 through PR004 plus supporting documents D004 through D010. The collection comprises four named video incidents: November 2021 'Triangle Orbs,' March 2022 'Red Orb Rotation,' October 2024 'Orbs Over the Pond' (a single object hovering above water for approximately 45 minutes), and July 2025 'Northeastern Orb Sighting' (two bright lights moving in tandem). Each video is accompanied by FBI FD-1057 or FD-302 witness statement forms.

Editor's context

This collection is significant for two reasons. First, it is the first FBI video material released through PURSUE: the FBI's prior public UAP record was almost entirely paper, much of it sourced from the early Cold War (Hottel memo, Project Blue Book correspondence). Second, the inclusion of paired FD-1057/FD-302 witness statements provides the kind of structured eyewitness scaffolding that the PURSUE video releases from CENTCOM and INDOPACOM have lacked.

In the margins

Transcribed redactions, stamps, and handwritten markings, the paratext of the file. Often the most human part of a declassified document, and worth reading on its own.
