Avi Loeb
Harvard theoretical astrophysicist. Chair of the UAP Science Advisory Council chartered by the White House on June 17, 2026. Author of Extraterrestrial (2021) and the Galileo Project cofounder. His hypothesis that interstellar object 'Oumuamua could be an alien probe made him a controversial but publicly-visible advocate for taking extraterrestrial hypotheses seriously in scientific discourse.
